As you can see a day in the program is very structured but does allow you a little free time to reflect and get a sense of being while in our beautiful natural surrounding. We have determined that these elements combine to be the best balance of fitness, fun, and relaxation for a healthy rejuvenating vacation. We believe in teaching with a very “hands on” approach. You will know exactly why you are eating what you are eating, how it was prepared, alternatives to get the same results, and how to incorporate the fundamental philosophies behind the program. We want to give you the tools to take the lifestyle you experience here back home with you once the program is over. The San Sophia Hiking and Wellness Program does not end when you leave Telluride, it is a lifestyle. The basic philosophy behind the program is to teach you and let you experience a different lifestyle that you can incorporate into your everyday life. Our program is based on you learning to control what you put into your body. Your body will give back what you put in. We believe that maintaining the correct blood sugar throughout the day is the key to making the body feel its best. |
